Maison Grocaut got the chance to be approached by NDP team to create a custom-made piece of art to decorate the walls of their office on Beaubien street.

It's with a great joy that the Maison presents you this very special piece of art that was ordered to us by the NDP office, the political party of the deputee of Rosemont-La-Petite-Patrie neighbourhood in Montréal, Alexandre Boulerice.

After having assisted to the opening evening of Amandine's first paintings exhibition called "Human landscapes" and displayed at Café Colibri in April 2022, Alexandre ordered her a painting to represent his attachement to the neighbourhood and to its culture.
He had really enjoyed the style of the other Rosepatrie landscapes that he discovered at the exhibition (Evening Fresh and Peaceful Morning) and thus chose a view of one of the most iconic places of the neighbourhood : Molson park.

This painting is twin with the one called Resilience, which was offered as a gift in January 2024 to the shelter for women victims of domestic violence who welcomed Amandine after she survived her agression one year earlier.

The Heart of the Neighbourhood is now proudly decorating the walls of the NDP office on Beaubien street East.
