The story of Evening Fresh
Evening Fresh found its new home in France after being displayed in an exhibition at Café Colibri on Beaubien street in April 2022
Daylight has always inspired me to capture its colors and particular atmosphere, be it early in the morning or later in the evening, especially when contrasts are enhanced by snow and the skeletons of the trees.
Here is a beautiful example of it in this painting, made after a photo taken late in the afternoon at Beaubien park in Rosemont-La-Petite-Patrie neighbourhood in Montréal, after a bright winter day :)

This piece of art was displayed during the first paintings exhibition of the Maison called "Human landscapes" which took place in Café Colibri on Beaubien street in April 2022 and which gathered landscapes from Rosepatrie neighborhood as well as a few portraits, all painted with acrylics.
This exhibition was privileged to welcome the deputee Alexandre Boulerice during its opening evening :
The painting Evening fresh has sinced joined the walls of a private collector in France, who has a passion for this Montréal neighbourhood. Here it is, hanging in its new home :
